Python Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced python developer who will implement and code a sophisticated predictive
analytics machine learning algorithms.
Be a part of products development group creating a massive SAAS system turning information hidden in vast
amounts of data into future insights.

Here at Curve You will join a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment to design, build and roll-out prediction systems integrated with our products to deliver the Curve’s vision and strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Code and Implement machine learning-based processes and algorithms, such as recommendations engines
    and automated prediction systems
  • Automate data collection procedures, and preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
  • Apply data mining techniques, perform statistical analysis, and build high quality prediction modeling
  • Meet the business vision and strategy in accordance with the product innovation backlog
  • Collaborate with the product, engineering and UX/UI teams to deliver usable and informative analytical
    product

Basic Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a python developer coding with SciPy, XGBoost, CatBoost, TensorFlow, pandas
  • Experience in multilayer programing and code integration
  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig
  • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, etc.
  • Familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an advantage
  • Experience with data visualization / BI tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
  • Data-oriented personality, analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude
  • Team player with great communication and presentation skills to tech / non-tech people alike
  • M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or
    other quantitative field is preferred
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Product Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a top-notch experienced product manager with technical orientation and ML / data-science background. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment to design, build and roll-out products to deliver Curve’s vision and strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage an end-to-end product development lifecycle
  • Translate our product vision and customer needs to a detailed product roadmap & development backlog
  • Meet with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain deep market understanding and requirements
  • Work with the Data team (including scientists and engineers) to maintain our innovation backlog
  • Detail the product backlog into well-defined user stories / PRDs & API specifications with the R&D leads
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business impact, time-to-market and available resources
  • Work closely with the engineering and UX/UI teams to deliver usable and informative analytical interfaces
  • Oversee and control the product release cycle, identify and act proactively to solve bottlenecks
  • Define the metrics and KPIs used to measure the health and success of the product

Basic Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Manager working with B2C / B2B2C SaaS products
  • Experienced as a Software Engineer or Architect of modern web applications and services
  • Tech-savvy with strong technical understanding and analytical skills
  • Familiar with ML / predictive modeling concepts and algorithms
  • Experience in writing API specifications
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of product development lifecycle including strategy, roadmap, requirements, UX/UI, development, and release
  • Team player with great communication and presentation skills to tech / non-tech people alike

UX/UI Designer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set UX and UI strategies based on our product vision and goals
  • Conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits
  • Design and maintain digital analytic-based assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using design and prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch, InVision)
  • Design UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrates functionalities, “look and feel”, and data flows
  • Develop and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using design and prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch, InVision)
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, and conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Meet the business vision in accordance with the product roadmap, requirements and backlog
  • Collaborate with the product, engineering and data teams to deliver usable and informative analytical interfaces

Basic Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a UX/UI designer, preferably dealing with analytic platforms and tools
  • Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Sketch, InVision
  • Holding a portfolio of design projects that includes web and mobile applications
  • Strong understanding of solid design principals
  • Proven track record in deconstructing user behavior to create a personalized experience for users, showcased in the form of blog posts, articles, screencasts, etc.
  • Knowledge of CCS, CSS extension languages, and CSS preprocessor tools
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices
  • Team player with great communication and presentation skills to tech / non-tech people alike
  • Sc. in Design, Computer Science or relevant field

  • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees, etc.
  • Experience in data mining and insight drawing from large manipulated data sets
  • Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Python, R, MatLab, Weka, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig
  • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, etc.
  • Excellent scripting and programming skills. Familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an advantage
